The Commercial Inn in Balintore is not currently open as a pub; it is closed and in a rundown condition but is being revived as a new venue called "The Shore," which will include a restaurant, takeaway, bar, and guest bedrooms. Planning permission was granted in May 2025 for the restoration and development of the building.
