David Ross left this review about The Heritage Bar
From a distance, this looks like a typical, pleasantly bland, modern gastropub, but closer inspection reveals something different. The bar is very run down looking, with broken glass panels on the entrance and interior doors left unrepaired and the whole place having a generally unkempt look. There are four TVs, all showing sport, a juke box, games machines and a pool table. Karaoke and open mic nights are advertised. The beer garden was nice enough, but mainly populated by people out for a smoke rather than enjoying the sunshine. There is a large lounge and/or function suite beside the bar which wasn't open and an upstairs area which didn't appear to be in use. A pint of Carling lager cost £3 and John Smith's, Guinness, Guinness Dublin Porter, Strongbow cider and Tennent's lager are also on draught.
