Characterful local on the main street that is a, perhaps unlikely, outlet for real ale in this part of the Glasgow commuter belt. 2 or 3 ales from local micros on my two visits. Sport features and the atmosphere is a convivial one. It has a very pubby feel with traditional furnishings and semi-separate areas around an L-shaped bar. Prices slightly higher than might be expected but on the whole a very enjoyable visit. Worth getting off the train for if heading out this way.
