A wet evening when we went in. A good drop of Young's Gold on handpump and a pretty reasonable wine list. The menu looked quite interesting so we decided to eat. Top notch food - more gastropub than normal pub grub fare. We both had the venison and wild boar cassoulet (nothing like a cassoulet but delicious anyway) at around £13 each. Pubs with good food and good beer are as scarce as hens' teeth in this part of the world so we'll definitely be back.
