An old hotel in the oldest part of the village, this is probably the most popular drinking place in the area. The bar has a village pub atmosphere and is mainly populated by locals, and their dogs, rather than tourists. It’s fairly basic and down to earth, but friendly and welcoming. It also has the merit of staying open later than its competitors, with lots of people arriving after 11.00 p.m. when the other pubs had presumably closed. It’s also relatively cheap, with a pint of Guinness costing me £3.20. Carlsberg and Staroprammen lagers are also on draught, as are local Perthshire ales Strathbraan True North and Due South. There is a pool table and dart board on a lower floored section at one end of the bar and a beer garden at the rear.

Excellent friendly Family run Pub, Food Fantastic, Live music once a month, Beer Garden to the rear of the pub, just the place to relax an chill out.
