The Black Watch Inn is Aberfeldy’s oldest public house on the go since 1890’s. There are 2 hand pulls for ale but both were not available at the time of visiting. There is on tap, Tennent’s lager, Harviestoun Schiehallion, Belhaven Best, Guinness, Maltsmiths lager, Strongbow & Amstel. There is a pool table at the far end of the bar area & going on further to the toilets. There is a beer garden which sits at the rear of the Croft restaurant is accessible from the pub and the restaurant. The restaurant is part of the pub.

I've been to Aberfeldy many times and can confirm that the Black Watch Inn is still trading. It may have been closed for renovation in the past but I can report that it is still open. Still an excellent pub and I can recommend it to anyone who pays it a visit.

I had never been to a pub where after one visit the landlord remembers your name until i came here. The selection of food avaliable was excellent and the portions are big. The staff behind the bar are great too. They even have dog bowls of water down and dog biscuits for the dogs (4 legged variety) and even better secure parking for motorbikes!!!!!!
