An attractive, white-painted building with contrasting dark green details. It looks like the original building has been added to at various times. The public bar is accessed by a door in the corner between the main building and a flat roofed extension. The floor is wooden and there is wood panelling to shoulder height, a small fireplace and a dark wooden bar with stools and hooks. The radio was playing and the TV was on but silent. The windows have some very nice landscapes in stained glass. There's no real ale, so I went for the Drygate Three Peaks IPA 3.9%, which was cold and fizzy. This was a pleasant pub to be in, but I wouldn't want to drink a whole lot of that beer.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Green Tree Hotel
Unassuming and friendly hotel bar, but with some interesting stained-glass windows. No real ales on, but the keg Belhaven Twisted Thistle IPA was fair enough.
