The Central Bar looks like a typical local pub from the outside. Inside has the appearance of entering someone’s living room. The place is all very homely. There are homemade rolls available to purchase. There are seats available to sit outside when weather permits, with the barman’s permission. No real ale. This is a great local which does not seem to attract the Peebles tourists.
