The Grey Horse in 2007 has featured in the Campaign for Real Ale’s (CAMRA) Good Beer Guide and south-west Edinburgh’s real ale pub. There is mostly 5 real ales on offer with 3 regular ones of Caledonian’s Deuchars IPA, Morland’s Old Speckled Hen and Inveralmond Brewery’s Ossian. In the public bar there are poems, pictures of local history and recent social events on the walls. The lounge being a bit more quieter, serves coffees, teas and bar meals. There is also a beer garden. Bar meals are served in the lounge bar and also in the beer garden, when the weather permits!
