Now the closest pub to Motherwell railway station, right on the corner at the cross, this is a popular place attracting a mixed age range and serving the usual staple beers. As the name suggests, it has a horseshoe bar, which takes up quite a large proportion of the interior space, leaving a compact, but comfortable enough, drinking area. Recent redecoration has resulted in a red colour scheme, with upholstery, curtains and staff T-shirts all in that colour.

Very handy for the train station. Usual beers and lagers. Satellite fitba available.
