Not the easiest pub to photograph and definitely not picturesque. The place is situated behind bookmakers and next to North Motherwell Community partnership Forum. The 1st pub that I have ever been in that has barbed wire on the roof. Forgetting about the Fort Knox style of things. The pub is a typical scheme pub. There is a pool table, reasonably clean toilets and Tennent’s Lager on tap. Worth visiting before dusk, gives you time to finish your pint before it gets dark, if the barbed wire is giving any impression.
