Friendly bar that is not tied to St Austell, and we stood at the bar chatting to the staff while drinking Skinners Betty Stogs that was the only real ale on. They do put more ale on when music events and jamming sessions on, and although they open open late afternoon they are open till around 2am. When beer is running down they put it on for £2 a pint.

One large bar, bare wooden floor, very load music playing to an empty bar, no one behind bar to order from, so I left the empty bar & it's music to it
