The Kings Arms is on a narrow street just up from the middle of Mevagissey.
Once inside there is a square shaped room with the the bar on the right side, the floor is tiled and the seating is normal tables and chairs.
There were three real ales on the bar,we had a drink of Exeter Ferryman, which went down well, the friendly bar maid offered us tasters of the other two real ales but we declined, but she brought tasters over to us anyway,we tried Exeter Avocet which was decent and Exeter Darkness which was very nice.
Background music was playing.
This seemed like a proper pub that was friendly,it also started to fill up not long after we arrived.
