Rex Rattus left this review about Carlyon Bay Hotel
This is clearly a hotel. However, it does have a bar (that is the epitome of a hotel lounge) which is open to the public, with a terrace at the back enjoying lovely views out to sea. The restaurant here is spectacularly expensive, but the sole ale available (Doom Bar) is not too unreasonable at £3.80 a pint, as judged by the London prices I am used to paying. But I don’t think this is the sort of place you would want to go for an evening’s beer drinking, although OK for a swift one if you happen to passing on the clifftop walk.
