Anyone who remembers the Victoria, as I do, as one of Glasgow’s premier real ale and folk music pubs, will be extremely disappointed by its conversion to an up-market bar/bistro (now called the Victoria Bar and Bistro). On the Friday evening I looked in, all of the customers present were seated around tables eating. Only the rather attractive beer garden, which it appears to share with the “Clutha” next door, looked welcoming to drinkers, but as the weather wasn’t, I didn’t even stay for a pint.

Like them all in this area well worth a visit good people not like the plastic ones in the trendy bars if your into pubs dont do trendy
