Fairly well-heeled holiday hotel tucked away down a private drive in woodlands off the A38, with a restaurant popular with families. It has a cosy stone-built bar area, with dining tables beyond and a large conservatory, also outdoor tables. Beers at time of visit included Hicks Special and Tintagel Cornwall's Pride. Various livestock wanders around the gardens.

A great family pub,ideal for kids,though not if you don't like animals.The food is out of this world,huge portions even has its own vegetarian menu.A warm frienly pub.
