Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Three Judges
Fine, traditional ale house. Irregularly-shaped bar with some wood panelling, several ceiling fans and a number of attractive lighting fittings. Mix of furniture, with some of the old-fashioned narrow tables that can just about accommodate a few pint glasses. Small raised seating area in the outside corner, presumably also used as a stage for the advertised live music events. With seven of the nine cask ales listed on the chalkboard available on this visit (my first for 13 years), the excellent selection - such as my Red McGregor from Orkney (£2.55, half) - all came from smaller Scottish breweries. Well worth the trip out from the city centre to nearby Kelvinhall subway station.

Will Larter left this review about The Three Judges
A popular, busy corner pub across the road from the Lismore. The long bar has three clusters of hand pumps, making 10 altogether with nine cask beers listed on a blackboard. I was invited to check the list but I prefer looking at the pump clips, and I soon found what I was looking for: Orkney Dark Island, an old favourite that had been strangely missing when I visited Ryrie's near Haymarket station the previous day. It was in very good condition (NBSS 3.5), but looking at my photos now I'm almost sorry that I paid no attention at the time to the other eight beers. We visited this and the Lismore as part of a pub research trip covering up to 10 pubs in Glasgow, but this one would be a worthy venue in its own right.

A West End instituation and the best real ale pub for miles around.Situated on a busy crossroads ,it's a local landmark.Open plan inside but still with seating booths around the L shaped interior, there can be up to 9 real ales avaiable with a blackboard listing to one side. It's a proper boozer,a drinkers type of pub but smart and tidy.
The barmaid was friendly and offered tasters. It stays open until midnight so is often the gathering place for a last one (or two!) and on my late night trip the choice was Hybrid Magic Porridge (NBSS 3.5),Kirkby Lonsdale Jubilee,Kelburn Golden Hops,Broughton Sin Bin and Loch Leven Shining Night,a good mix of styles and strength.
Televised sport but otherwise screen off maintains a good feel,on leaving I bade a fond farewell and was addresses as Big Man which sounded complementary when delivered in glaswegian.A must visit and I will be back.
