The Scarecrow is right on the corner of the village centre and off the Main Road. There is plenty of parking about. The pub was very busy with locals and businessmen in for a drink. There is also a restaurant attached to the rear of the bar. This is also called The Scarecrow. The lady manager was busy having a break outside the restaurant but took time out to introduce me to the many exits to the pub and the restaurant. I had a Jamieson and coke to wash down the excellent meal. There is no bar in the restaurant, but the drink was very quickly obtained from the main bar. This is one Scarecrow that won’t scare away your “bird” (Girlfriend). Well worth a visit.
