A student bar a good 10-minute walk out of the city centre. L-shaped internally, this has a keg-only bar against the left-hand wall, with booth seating to the right along with a set-back, raised area against the front portion of the right-hand wall. The "L" extends to the right at the back and beyond the bar, housing two blue-baized pool tables and further booth seating. A quiz was in flow during my late Thursday night visit, trapped as I was in Glasgow during the Feb / March 2018 dumping of snow, along with a decent indie-pop soundtrack and numerous screens showing an English Premier League game on mute. Food available is of the chicken wing variety and this place, to me, seems to be trying to tick too many boxes. It seems to be working though, as it was full of students from the nearby Uni (I did feel a little old), although is a decent bottled and canned selection available, which includes Tiny Rebel's Cwtch and Sam Smith's Oatmeal Stout.
