The Georgic has had this name since 1945 and looking at the interior that also looks like it was from 1945, apart from the addition of a lounge bar in the 1990’s. Great traditional stuff, just like the pub your parent and grandparents drank. The clientele was definitely from my parent’s era, probably lured in by the half and half deal. The deal being, choose either a half pint of Belhaven Best or Carling, with a Whyte and Mackay whisky or a Smirnoff vodka (35ml) & with a free dash all for only £2.30, all day every day.
