The pub is named due to being the first and last pub, depending on the direction you enter Maryhill Road. I visted on a Sunday afternoon and the place was very busy. There is a pub across the road and the next nearest pub is a quarter mile away. So plenty of locals in here. The original pub on the corner has a lounge on the side which appears to have taken over the house next door.

The First and Last pub is run by Tacey & Alec. All the staff are extreamly welcoming and friendly. It has a Dart and Domino team. There is no food on site but takeaways are a plenty nearby. It has large screen tv's, juke box and free wi-fi. One of the most friendliest pubs in Maryhill.
