Big Slope is a basement bar on a corner where lots of people were sat outside on picnic tables behind the railings during a recent Tuesday afternoon visit. Inside was a bit quieter with a few people sat at tables that run across the front wall. Some booths are found in the right rear and the serving counter manned by a very friendly chap runs up the left-hand wall. Premium keg was available. There was some folksy background music playing and while I supped my beer I noted the presence of table football and lots of animal antlers on the walls. The bar itself is unremarkable, but I’d pop back in for the welcome if passing.
