For supporters of Glasgow Celtic, this is a must visit pub sometime when you’re in the city. It’s located right next to the “Barras” market, if you happen to be shopping there. There is a separate Bar and Lounge and virtually all available surfaces of the walls and ceilings of both, as well as the toilets, are covered in Celtic photographs, newspaper reports of games and other assorted memorabilia. Hundreds of scarves of past European opponents are dangling from the ceiling. The TV shows recordings of famous matches and the music consists largely of Celtic songs. One of the club’s previous managers (I think it was Kenny Dalgleish) even held press conferences here. It also sells drink, incidentally. A colourful and lively pub, although opinions will inevitably vary according to football allegiances.
