A music themed pub, with concert posters, record sleeves and many musical instruments adorning the walls. This could have been so much more interesting and enjoyable, but I found the atmosphere a bit intimidating - not with any threat of violence, just a feeling of not being welcome. Or maybe it was just a reflection of the feeling that the lass working the bar didn't really want to be here, and made no effort to make her customers feel welcome. A word of advice: if you put yourself into your job, people will appreciate it and you'll enjoy your job. No real ale here, so I had a Glenlivet.

Situated just off High Street the Wheatsheaf is a clean and tidy pub which was doing a good trade with the foodies on my lunchtime visit. No cask beer on show just the usual suspects but apart from that the pub was OK.
