Strongers . left this review about The Rumblingwell
I got to the Rumbling Well just before the barmaid called last orders at 21:30, which was an hour and a half earlier than advertised hours. During my twenty-minute stay she turned away five customers saying they were closed, so they must be coining it in to turn away so much Tuesday night trade. The stool lined serving counter that supports standard keg alongside Birra Moretti runs up the left-hand wall where it faces open plan seating, including a long high table, in the centre of the room. There’s a pool table adjacent to a couple of gaming machines towards the rear and to the right is more seating, including some booths that run across the rear wall. Televisions throughout were airing muted Sky Sports and there was some crap modern background music playing. I liked it in here, but it’s too far of a walk out of town when there’s the possibility of it being closed on a whim.
