This is a sports bar with, as might be expected, several screens showing a football match, and lots of high tables with chairs to match. On the bar were four hand pumps, with Timothy Taylor Landlord doubled, Loch Leven Shining Knight and one with nothing on. The local beer was not much to my taste, but in good condition. Dunfermline's pubs are a motley crew, the best of them probably the Commercial. I wouldn't object to coming back here if there was a game on.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The East Port
Semi-modernised pub behind the traditional stone façade, with the bar set between a slightly raised seating area at the front and a bit of a lounge at the back. Also has a rear beer garden. Landlord and Old Speckled Hen (£2.60) available from two of the four handpumps.

Single roomer, mocha and puff blue shades. Rear area has bird wallpaper and a couple of booths, with some alcove seating towards the front. An interesting set of old Dunfermline prints on the walls. Rammed, in contrast to other pubs I looked into on Sunday. Large TVs showing mute footy and tennis with party music underway (it appeared that Celtic had won something). Pleasantly surprised to see four pumps offering GK OSH, Deuchars IPAx2 and Fyne Jarl. Inevitably I opted for the Jarl which was OK but a bit butterscotch/muted, not as crisp a beer as I’ve had it elsewhere. Served up by a friendly, efficient barmaid (rather than her thousand yard stare companion). In the context of Dunfermline, not bad.
