Strongers . left this review about The Glen Tavern

The laminate floored bar of the Glen Tavern is found to the right of the entrance where a central L-shaped serving counter splits tables and chairs in the front bar area from a pool table and a couple of dartboards in the rear. The jukebox on the right-hand wall was unused, probably because I was the only customer during a recent Wednesday early afternoon visit. The landlady was extremely chatty and she put some sport on the television for me, even though I didn’t ask. On my way out I noted a large area that wasn’t in use in the left-hand side of the building, maybe this is a function room. The draught options of standard keg and Cruzcampo aren’t the most exciting, but you’ll struggle to find much else in this area. As a sports bar this place is OK for a few pints and a game of pool, but more due to the hospitality than the surroundings.

Situated at the top end of Cowdenbeath the Glen Tavern is decent, clean and tidy pub and although no cask on show the Landlady was very chatty and friendly
