Closed at the beginning of 2012 and up for sale with planning permission for residential conversion. Quite a cute little formerly St Austell-tied house, but always struggled against the nearby White Hart and Star Inn, Crowlas, in recent times. The last landlord and landlady wrote a monthly column in the CAMRA Cornwall magazine. Did some quite nice ales and had Pressgang on tap, apple fans. But if you never did it, tis likely you won't now.
