A very busy pub when I visited on Thursday 08/11/2013. Considering how quiet other pubs in the area were on the same day. The bar maid (who is also the owner with her husband) who was talking to a customer noticed I has came in and started to serve me right away. After a short while she joined myself in conversation. We spoke how the pub has had a bad revue in the past, which was well before the current owners took over. The place has a very friendly atmosphere. The main bar enters to the right from the front door. The bar opens Sunday – Thursday 10.00am - 11.00pm & Friday – Saturday 10.00am - 12.00pm. There is a restaurant, which enters to the left from the front door. This serves meals from Monday – Sunday, Bar Lunches Served 12.00pm - 2.30pm, Bar Suppers Served 5.30pm - 8.30pm & Sunday Breakfast Served 10.00am - 12.00pm. There is also an outside beer garden for anyone wishing to eat or drink alfresco when the summer days are here. There is also parking available in the private car park to the side of the building and last but not least wheelchair access. This is my longest revue of any pub. First time visit but not my last.
