Pub renamed 'Mackenzies'. This is the name the pub was known as, by locals, when I frequented it in the early 70's although its not officially been called that until recently. Originally 'The Muirhouse Arms' becoming 'The Village Inn' before this latest name change.

Recently takenover, looks like the owner is trying to do a rolling refurb. I drink there about once a week and there has been a noticeable improvement in both the beer and the staff. The food from the kitchen is good and at ridiculously low prices. If they keep this up I will be going there more often
