A really friendly and welcoming community pub, part cafe and part bar. There are two hand pumps with beers from Stewart and Bellfield, but it was only 11:30 so I had a coffee. The decor is several shades of blue paint, some of it distressed, with displays of random artefacts, drawings, paintings and photos. Children and dogs welcome, and there's a chess night the last Thursday of each month. Nice place.

A dog friendly pub that sits on the Portobello promenade. No real ale. Also serves food. The place is busy with dog walkers during the day and busy with eaters in the evening. There is outside seating when weather permits. Plenty of parking in Bath Street during the day but limited in the evening as the area is residential.
