Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Phoenix Bar
Refurbished bar (although the high moulded ceiling thankfully remains intact), with annoying high tables / chairs plus a separate seating area up a few steps to one side. Large TV screen behind the bar counter. Music quite loud for lunchtime. Cellar Bar available for hire (not visited). Three handpumps, offering Deuchars IPA, TT Landlord and Stewart Edinburgh Gold (£3.20). OK overall, but nothing to make it stand out against the other Broughton Street pubs.
