Cask was the Gloaming from Loch Lomond, Joker IPA, Pilot Little Big Red and Moonwake Milk Stout. Keg was Guinness, Amstel, Berries & Cherries Old Mount cider, Inch's, Laine Mangolicious, Neck Oil, Cruz, Innis & Gunn lager, Lucky Saint & Moretti.
Old school venue, L shaped bare boarded venue with bar counter on the right-hand wall with mish mash of tables including some stools at the bar counter. Some nice tiling on the lower part of the wall opposite the bar counter. Some impressively large distillery mirrors on the upper part of the wall opposite the bar counter. Nice, subdued lighting at the end of an evening.

Not my first visit, but somehow didn’t write a review before. I don't often go out after 9pm and I was reminded why when I opened the door and it felt like 50 people were shouting at me. I made my way to the bar and managed to order a half of very good Orkney Cliff Edge IPA 4.7% (NBSS 4, £5.40/pint). This would be quite a pleasant bar if most of the people would clear off, or at least just stop shouting for a few minutes. There were three other beers but I'll bet none of them were as good as mine, and I'll shout at anyone who tries to tell me otherwise.

A real gem of a pub - lovely looking exterior - dark wood surrounding etched glass window. Just as nice inside, with a low ceiling, loads of brewery/distillery mirrors. We were lucky enough to get the boothed Window seat. If allowed to be published, you will see Mrs M checking in my perfect Stewarts 80/-
Edinburgh just keeps on throwing up (nice) surprises.
