Nice traditional smallish corner bar with an attractive red exterior and some nice stained glass windows.
Inside there is a central horseshoe bar with a wooden floor except for some nice floor tiling around the bar.
There is limited seating to the left of the bar and this area is mainly for vertical drinking. The right hand side is slightly wider with some banquette seating and then there is an additional small room with additional seating to the back of the bar accessible from both sides. Also on the right side is a staircase which leads to a seating area located on top of the horseshoe bar which is mainly used for dining, and although I personally didn’t try it this bar does score well for its pub food on trip advisor.
Sadly it’s keg only on the bar but fortunately there is a couple of pumps with modern craft options with Beavertown Neck oil and a couple from Innis and Gunn including their lager.
Was being very well utilised on my early evening visit with quite a lively crowd.
