A pair of bars in an old hotel extended through several houses along the street. There’s a bar and a lounge, the bar is partly in Victorian style, partly more modern; the lounge is much more modernised and is a tangle of spaces and has two counters. The bar has a splendid bar back and carved counter while the furnishings are a mix of banquettes and tables and chairs in modern style, inevitably there’s a couple of big screens too. Beer wise just a large selection of Scottish and UK kegs.

This pub has a reputation for good food and renown for it's generous portions.At weekends karaoke is performed, and although not an avid fan of the art,was quite impressed by the high standard.Give the home made steak pie a go i am sure you wont be disappointed.
