The Thistle Inn appears to be a house conversion from the outside. But inside is like the bar and restaurant area of a nice hotel. My wife and I had a meal from their good-sized menu choice. We were served at the bar very quickly considering the place was very busy. The barmaid served with a smile & thanks. Great service. There is seating outdoors at the front and rear for the good weather. Good amount of parking available. Prices varied between a workingman pub & hotel prices. Overall, well worth a visit.
