The place has a name change from Town Hotel to Ayr Town Lodge. The place admits it is a budget hotel and reading reviews of the place the reviews are very good. The bar area has an L-shaped bar with plenty of chairs at the bar and plenty of seating and tables. There are no bar meals to be had. And the drinks are of the usual type with nothing fancy. No cocktail crowd here.
