A traditional style pub with a separate bar and lounge and a long semi-circular counter serving both. It’s not much to look at from outside, but the interior is quite attractive with lots of wood and large brewery mirrors on the walls. There is a TV and a dart board in the bar, which is warmed by a wood burning fire. A pint of Caledonia Best cost me £2.90 and Tennent’s and Stella Artois lagers, Guinness, Tennent’s Special and Magner’s and Blackthorn ciders are also on draught.
