Certainly the liveliest of the town's pubs, this was busy on both the Thursday and Friday nights I came in, with a mixed crowd of young and middle aged people of both sexes. There is a pool table, a dart board, games machines and two TVs, although the sound was drowned out by the fairly loud pop music. A pint of Guinness cost me £3.40 and John Smith's, Strongbow cider and Tennent's, Stella Artois and Foster's lagers are also on draught.
