Large modern estate-style pub a short walk out of the town centre that serves food but also seems like a community local with pool table, juke box etc. Very large main bar split into separate areas, I spotted another room but the lights were off. There is also a small outdoor drinking area at the back. Very friendly chatty landlady and two real ales from Tintagel, my Arthurs Ale was spot on. I didn’t expect much, but this is a pleasant pub that’s worth a visit.

This pub is a free house and had Sharps Doom Bar, St Austell Tribute and Tintagel Cornwalls Pride, and we chose the Tintagel. It was in good condition. The pub is situated a little way from the main areas of Newquay, but the different beer range made it worth a visit. There is some outside seating at the front.
