The exterior of this pub is Victorian Gothic, but the interior is modern and open plan.
There is a snooker table at the back of the pub, behind the U shaped bar. The interior decoration is mock pine panelling. It is very light.
There is the usual tap stuff and one real ale, which I am told changes. Today it was Inveralmond Thrappledouser, which I thought was very tasty, flavoured with blackcurrant.
This is something of a locals pub, but has lots of atmosphere. Could do with a second real ale.
