Town SQ, or Town Square as everyone calls it, has a bar counter to the left that faces high tables along the front windows. Standard keg is available. Standard sized tables and chairs run along the windows in the right hand side of this bar. Behind these tables is a sunken seating area with long high benches and stools down the centre and tables and chairs run along the rear wall. A sign next to a door at the rear reads something like “Back Bar -> if the curtain is open come on in”, the curtain was closed because my visit was midweek. A door has been knocked through into Bar 12 on Lower Crescent to create this back bar creating a single venue. I liked the chilled background music and the staff were polite so I felt comfortable in here, but it was a bit dimly lit for my liking. I’d probably drink here every now and again if I lived locally and was 20 years younger.
