Pug Uglys is a single room open plane live music pub with a thin raised area on the right hand wall where a guitarist was setting up during a recent midweek visit. A large U shaped bar projects from the right hand wall under this raised area. Standard keg was available alongside Peroni. A television was showing muted Champions League football whilst some background music played. The staff were polite, but I got the feeling they rate themselves. That said, there’s probably a very good atmosphere in here when it gets going.
