Review below is still pretty accurate. The large beer garden is on the roof.

A detached pub, eatery and night club on the sea-front. It is modern looking - kind of plain 1960s, in a cream fake stone look, with a beer garden entered from the main door.
The interior is open plan with the serving bar at the back facing you on entry. One side of the room is a sort of lounge/dining area, the other a bar, with pub games; 3 pool tables and a dart board. There are a few TVs dotted about, they were showing different fotty matches at my visit. The decor is mix of wood panel, exposed brick, cream artex ceiling with carpet floor one side and a marble effect on the other. A bit of nautical stuff is on the walls; a ships wheel, photos and pictures etc. There was no music. The service was OK and the place was rammed with a mixed clientele. They do food, but i didn't eat.
Beer; tap stuff in general, with an OK Sharpe's Doombar on handpull.
A lively sea-front place, so in general you know what you will get. I have been in far worse. Has the pub games and sport TVs.

An overpriced pub come nightclub situated close to the beach that is very much void of character.Hope you have better luck than me finding the beer garden open.
