The former Railway pub has essentially been gutted and massively extended into a pub, hotel, restaurant and ice cream parlour. The bar is what looks to be the original pub building – not too badly done, though nobody in situ on an early Sunday afternoon, all the action was in the ice cream parlour. Seemingly run by Gower brewery, the Gold (NBSS 3) was available on cask, as well as some more of theirs on keg and in bottle. We also stayed the night here – the rooms were exceptionally good for the price paid. Options in this town are very limited, so this is your best bet.
