The train station area of Swansea seems to be quite a rough place and this was the default choice to grab a swift one before getting the train back. The exterior of the building really is quite impressive though the interior is a fairly bland bar-by-numbers design. Plenty of mainstream keg fonts though no real ale. Prominent coffee machine. TV football. High tables and sofas. Indifferent service (one usually asks whether a customer wishes to have milk in their coffee…).

It's OK but could really do a lot more in this location, especially as we weren’t the only train station customers. A bit of imagination and this would quite something.

We first stayed here in the early 90's when it was realy in a sad state of repaire,but now it's been fully refurbished to a very high standard,and a top quaility public bar...
