A 90s ecclesiastical refit feel here. Surprisingly large inside with a pew section off left and a room behind whilst the main bar is accommodating for vertical drinkers. Mustard and red wine colours which in context worked rather well. One cask, Felinfoel Double Dragon, which was in good nick (NBSS 3.5) – a classic case of ‘one is plenty’. Gearing-up for Saturday night with late 90s and early 00s chart music which took me back to a time when I was a little less of presence than I am now. Not bad, this one. 6.5
