The Westgate is a decent sized pub that is situated on the corner of a very busy road junction.
Once inside i went into a fairy large room that was more like a lounge,the room was carpeted and had normal tables and chairs.
The pub is a Brains tied house,there were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Brains bitter which was a bit below par,the other beer was Brains SA.
This is a comfortable enough pub,but it is away from the main shopping area.
The Westgate is now Cask Marque accredited.
