No cask. Keg offering of John Smiths, Guinness, Thatchers Gold, Heineken, Carling, Inch's, Amstel and Cruz. The hand pumps on the counter in the lounge bar did not appear to be used.
Visited previously back in March when it was unexpectedly closed. There is some picnic bench seating out the front. The entrance off the "main" road is into the public bar, carpeted with the bar counter opposite the entrance. There is some tall stool seating at the bar and a small number of regular tables and chairs, and packed into the space are a pool table and large fruit machine. TV was switched off and the jukebox was well used. The lounge bar is through a doorway that takes you past the entrance to the side conservatory, which is used for dining, has its own bar offering the same beer choices. This lounge bar area is bare boarded and there is some tall stool seating at the bar. The area beyond is carpeted with regular tables and chairs and I suspect is also generally used for dining. The venue was quite quiet on my visit, and I can’t say I would be lining up a return.
