U shaped venue quiet on my early evening attendance. Bar greets you on entering the venue with a pool table in the left-hand side and seating all around the bar including some stools at the pillars dotted around the front part of the venue. Jukebox, fruit machines and a TV in the wall behind the pool table with a large Welsh flag on the wall to the right thereof added to the look of the venue. With some bigger commercial quaffing enterprises nearby, it is good to see a place like this surviving. Paved drinking area out the back with picnic tables, not particularly a lovely feature!

No cask. Keg options were Carling, Guinness, Carling fruit cider, Worthington CF, Coors, Strongbow and Madri. Guinness was v good and just nudged it to average for me.

Another really simple venue. Was the only punter there during my visit. Suspect custom busier at weekends. Nothing special but glad I visited whilst still here. Long may this sort of venue survive to provide locals what they want, but not really one for me.
